The Old Gods Waken

Evil laughter, not my own bells are ringing on the telephone paranoia grips my soul, I will never let you go. Watch the window to the sky, clouds are drifting through my eyes, tears are dropping to the sand, the lonely sea unites again. I know nothing (don't mind me) I know nothing (leave me be) I know nothing (you believe) I need the truth (to set me free) Part the ocean beneath my eyes, I stand alone where the seas rise, a pillar of salt from drown-ed sand, erect my form where storms begin. Statuesque, the image lives, a beacon to the minds of men recalling dreams of ages past, the old Gods waken, first and last I know nothing (hide your head) I know nothing (bring your dead) I know nothing (shadows step) I need to truth (to take my breath) Bride of death, withhold desire, how souls burn 'til they retire, this tributary lasting fire, twisting sinews merge and rise. Imbue the conscious of the flame, who cannot walk, restore the lame, into the AYY'ONS!! they will tread; even death may pass the dead whose legions sail to what strange lands by courses set forth on my breath, and paths, then beaten, by design of something latent in my mind. Old Gods waken through all pasts, this land is strewn with obelisks, I reach towards, with all in time, the ever-standing stones which rise towards a sky which shimmers in the blinding light of forgiveness, enrapture all into the deep, awaken from the dark of sleep and I know nothing (legions rise) I know nothing (and join the light) I know nothing (this bridge of ash) Let peace now cross (forever last)

Your twistin' strange visions unfold in front of you you don't know what it means and you don't know quite what to do like dreams, just as they seem, so meaningless and hollow to you you can't see anything that isn't there in front of you Take the lines and take the signs out, signifying nothingness, fables with no lesson learned, dilution of the holy text. There's nothing to be inferred from metaphor, you know it's best to put all of your faith in something dead. Something dead, dead, dead, dead, dead 'nuff said. 'My God, my Lord! Why have you forsaken me, I worshiped a piece of land, and blood on sand, and material gain, I put my money in the bag, I wore the right clothes, wore the right name tag, I did just as you seemed to say, so why am I in hell today?!!' Take the lines and take the signs out, signifying nothingness, fables with no lesson learned, dilution of the holy text. There's nothing to be inferred from metaphor, you know it's best to put all of your faith in something dead. Something dead, dead, dead, dead, dead 'nuff said. You can't, you won't, you could not and so you don't ever follow back the thread behind the spine that binds the text. Those pages, like sages telling stories so absurd, the literal truth is lost to you when taken as just literal words. Take the lines and take the signs out, signifying nothingness, fables with no lesson learned, dilution of the holy text. There's nothing to be inferred from metaphor, you know it's best to put all of your faith in something dead. Something dead, dead, dead, dead, dead There was once a man so good, there once was, knock on wood. My messiah was so good, my messiah, knock on wood. My idol there upon the wall, a symbol whose meaning is lost. There was once a man so good, there once was, knock on wood. There's nothing to be inferred at all.

Come on fast, let's get inside bolt the door, shut out the lights when the sun falls on this town, we know there's no place to hide. It's always been this way under the watch of the depraved, the sickness spreads and stalks the night in this God-forsaken place. They don't know what it's like when you're running in the night and they're coming up behind again when they're on the night shift. They think it's passed, it's past midnight, it's not over 'til the morning light like a horror out of time to those who remained blind. They don't know 'til it's too late, they don't know 'til they meet their fate it's something that contaminates, the madness of an unchecked plague. They don't know what lies in store, they hide their heads from a distant storm, it's closer than it was before when they're on the night shift.

Fight Back 05:36
Arm in arm my people stand for those who died. Stand up, fight back! We are brothers in this land, and now's the time we take it back Come on tyrants, send your droogs, we do not care. Stand up, fight back! Arm in arm the people stand, the people of this free men's land, scale of justice in our hand to weigh the souls of evil men whose evil wars are built on lies, take thousands of innocent lives. Now's the time we say no more, cast the devil from our shores! The devil plays his cruel charade, tell your lies, I'm not afraid! Hide behind your storm brigades, but for your crimes, you're gonna pay. Send the cops, the cavalry, the national guard, I'm not afraid! The crime you've done is far too great, together, we will seal your fate. Arm in arm my people stand for those who died. Stand up, fight back! We are brothers in this land, and now's the time we take it back Come on tyrants, send your droogs, we do not care. Stand up, fight back! Evil men with numbered days, tell your lies, I'm not afraid! The mask has fallen from their face for evil deeds, you're gonna pay. The national guard and the marines, send them all, I'm not afraid! They won't protect you from your fate. Criminals, The Hague awaits! For the crime of genocide, you cannot bribe the blood away. The culprit tells his vicious lies, still it's time, you're gonna pay. Send the cops, the cavalry, the national guard, I'm not afraid! I've seen your evil and your hate, we've seen it all, we're not afraid!

A Visit 05:48
Tell me, will you go or will you linger by the rose, waiting, who knows what for? Between the river and its flows, visitors who come and go, wayward, their boats to moor. There was one who came today before the light dissipates, and I can see you in the stone, staring up alone where your gaze might meet my eye, I'm so glad you could stop by, and it's lovely to see you roam through a lovely home. As they come and return home will you linger by the rose, , brooding, there in the cold? Our rounding river runs into the black beyond and to the quaking sea, too still to break your dream. You circle it in time, embroidered through your eye, and where reflections turn, towers fall into the sky jutting downwards and it's so dark above. ... and as the rain now pours, and beats upon the river shore, through the sounds of wind and storm speak loud the voices of the world proclaiming all is lost, their lonely voices echo on from vistas darkened and forlorn, their shadows cast across the storm. Then at a crystal ball a gathering of strangers waltz, twirling in their shifting pairs all across this lovely hall and I can see you and it has been so long this place is always such a mess when I am gone. There was one who left today all is lost, you've gone away I can hear you through the rain piercing downwards through the lake deep into these lovely halls of tapestries and mirrored walls roll the courses of the rain, deep into my mirrored veins, and in a myriad of voices only just to speak one phrase, "All is lost," they whisper through the dark, as loud, then as a scream, and on the marble stairs, in shadow there, like a stranger you fade, it's always lovely here, though, now; this place will never change. Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Lost, lost

Palimpsest 06:18
All across the centuries, waves are buried by the sea, dirt is covering the leaves, newly fallen away from green moon is crowding in the night, newly gaze upon your life and you don't write from left to right, you scrawl upon your life the pages turn, turning into one you, in overlapping lines falling in through time covering the letters that you write. There are many pages which can fill you with regret, all of them still blur within the ones not written yet, falling, falling number the leaves, number the sea. All the times come crashing in and shine upon your waves of skin, the earth is buried under leaves which draw their breath and turn to green, sun is burning through the sky and it reflects back from your eye, and you don't write from left to write, through ages you inscribe, the pages turn, zero into one, and you can count it all you like where run eternal lines coming through the numbers you divide and you don't write from left to right, you scrawl upon your life the pages turn, turning into one you, in overlapping lines falling in through time covering the letters that you write.

about

Times are changing. In the souls of all men, the ancient traditions and memories of primordial magic are revived, intertwined with the words of prophets who walked in their shadow. The human spirit, and the spirit of the divine in all glory moves through all against false works of delusion, preparing to tear down the devious facades of false faith which have blocked so many for so long from the light of true illumination. Look into the eyes of every fable and see the common divinity united in its oneness, the unadulterated glory of the being.

Carlton Heston Atlanta, Georgia

If you're reading this - Gods of the Dead is the good one. Listen to that first if you're going to listen to anything on here. It's actually pretty solid.

Atlanta Monsters' Ball is also nice.
